This page explains what personal data I collect when you write to me or sign up for my newsletter, why I need it, where it is kept and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
Mahutaja’s services are provided by Viewmark OÜ (registry code 11960393), which is also the controller of your personal data. If you have any questions about your data, write to me at anne.kanter@gmail.com.
What I collect and why
When you write to me through the contact form, I receive:
- your name and email address, so that I can reply;
- your phone number, if you add it;
- your town or county, so that I know where your home is;
- the service you are interested in, and your message;
- photos, if you add them.
I use this information only to reply to you and to prepare an offer. The time you sent the form, your IP address and your browser type are stored with it. They help me tell enquiries apart and recognise spam.
Photos may show your home and your belongings. Please do not send pictures that show other people.
Legal basis
I process this data on two grounds. First, at your request, I take steps before we enter into a contract: I answer your questions and prepare an offer (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Second, by sending the form you consent to me using your details to reply to you (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to me. Withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before.
Where your data is kept and for how long
Messages sent through the form arrive in my email inbox, which is run by Google (Gmail). So that no enquiry gets lost, a copy is also stored in the website’s database (Flamingo). Photos reach me only as email attachments and are not kept on the website.
I keep enquiries and our correspondence for 12 months after our last contact, unless a contract requires a longer period. After that I delete them from both my email and the website.
Newsletter
I send my newsletter only to people who have agreed to receive it. It is sent through SendFox, which stores your email address, and your name if you give it. Every newsletter has a link you can use to unsubscribe at any time. Once you unsubscribe, I will not send you the newsletter again.
Who else processes your data
I use service providers who process data on my behalf and on my instructions (processors):
- the web host, whose server holds the website and its database;
- Google, whose Gmail service I use to receive and answer messages from the contact form;
- SendFox, which I use to send the newsletter;
- Cloudflare (Turnstile), which checks that the contact form is sent by a person. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details.
Google, SendFox and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In that case the transfer relies on safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. I do not sell your data or pass it on to anyone else.
Cookies
The website stores one cookie in your browser: pll_language. It remembers whether you are reading the site in Estonian or English, lasts one year and contains no personal data. WordPress also keeps a note in your browser’s session storage about whether your browser can show emoji. It is deleted when you close the tab.
The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Its fonts and images come from the website’s own server, not from third parties.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask what data I hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict the processing of your data or object to it;
- receive your data in a machine-readable format, so that you can pass it on to someone else;
- withdraw your consent at any time.

If you think I am handling your data incorrectly, you have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate, Andmekaitse Inspektsioon (www.aki.ee, info@aki.ee).
